Rajasthan Royals will take on Punjab Kings in the match which starts the second leg for both the teams. Both the units have an array of great players and we might see the two teams playing out a magnificent game of cricket, as was the case when these two teams came against each other in the first leg of the IPL 2021.

The last fixture between these two teams was a pleasant opportunity for the fans to collect some fantasy points and this match will present a similar opportunity.

Here are 3 players to avoid in your fantasy teams for Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings match:

  1. Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia was one of the stand-out performers for the Rajasthan Royals team in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League. However, by the time the next season started Tewatia’s form dropped massively as he failed to regain the same kind of effectiveness.

In the first leg of the tournament, he only managed to score 86 runs in seven matches. Most importantly, his performances with the ball were disappointing as well. He only managed to pick two wickets in those seven matches. With a lack of game time under his belt, he can be a risky pick.

  1. Chris Gayle

Gayle hasn’t been in the best of forms lately. In the CPL 2021, he failed to cross the 50-run mark, which should count as a low in his career considering the number of runs he is used to scoring in the format.

On top of that, Gayle might get his preferred position to open the innings in this team, which is a problem for him because he is not someone who can tee off once he is at the crease. Given these factors and the number of alternative options, it is slightly risky to pick him in your fantasy team.

  1. Mandeep Singh

There is no doubt that Mandeep Singh is quite talented but, saying he has got all the opportunities that he has deserved wouldn’t be correct. Even though he wasn’t picked in the first half of the tournament, he might just find a place in the side in the second half. Having said that, with a top-heavy batting unit, we might see him struggling to get many deliveries to go and get a big score. On top of that, his strike rate even in the death overs isn’t the best. He has been seen struggling against pacers as well, which becomes a problem. He can a bit risky to name in your fantasy team.
