With Week 1 of the NFL season here, fantasy football matchups begin. As some struggle to make start/sit decisions, matchups dictate the right decision.

Week 1 of the NFL is here, and with it comes fantasy football and all of the decisions that must be made with it.

Deciding on who to play or sit is a big deal, but is also a good problem to have. A big proponent of making this decision is based on the ideal matchup for the week.

Five matchups to exploit in Week 1 in your fantasy football lineup.

5. Ryan Tannehill vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Tennessee Titans open their season at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. There will certainly be a lot of fantasy points scored in this one. But don’t forget Ryan Tannehill in this game.

Arizona has a thin secondary relative to the rest of the league. Malcolm Butler was their top cornerback, but after losing him to the reserve/retired list due to a personal issue, they’re now even thinner.

Their starting corners are Byron Murphy, a younger corner, and Robert Alford, a veteran. Not an entirely frightening duo.

Budda Baker is an elite safety, but relying on him to corral the Titans’ passing attack is unrealistic.

The good news for Tannehill owners is that the Cardinals offense is high-flying, meaning Tennessee will have to keep scoring throughout the game to keep up.

Put Tannehill in your Week 1 lineup and enjoy the results.
