Kylian Mbappe’s stunning transfer to Real Madrid is reportedly off with the Spanish club ending talks with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe has been linked with a £154million move to La Liga and was keen on a new challenge at the Bernabeu.
But with time running out in the transfer window, negotiations between the two European titans have broken down.
Real Madrid made a total of three bids for the World Cup-winning Frenchman, who is out of contract in Paris in 2022.
Real Madrid’s first bid of £137million for Mbappe was swiftly rejected by the Ligue 1 giants before Los Blancos returned with an improved offer of £145million.

This second bid was also rejected, prompting Real to return with one final offer of £145million, with £9million in add-ons.
But once again, Paris Saint-Germain rejected Real Madrid’s third bid and according to reports from French publication Telefoot, talks between the two clubs have ended.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke on the Mbappe saga following the Champions League draw.
He said: “I’ve been very clear, we’ve been very clear. The club’s stance is clear. We will not change it or repeat it.”
Meanwhile, PSG’s sporting director Leonardo confirmed to RMC Sport that Mbappe had informed the club he wants to leave for Real Madrid, adding the Spanish side need to up their bid.
“We consider the offer to be very far from what Kylian represents today,” said Leonardo.
“We also owe part of this money to Monaco and we consider that the offer is not enough. It is less than what we paid for him.”
He then hit out at the way in which Real Madrid have gone about trying to sign Mbappe.

“For the last two years, Real Madrid have been behaving like this, it is not correct,” said Leonardo.
“Illegal even because they contacted the player. It is unacceptable for us, because it is not correct.
“It is proof of the strategy: an offer comes 1 year before the end of his contract and 7 days before the end of the window.
“They want us to reject to show to Kylian that they tried everything and to start negotiating for next year.”
