The Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat the Punjab Kings in dramatic fashion in their opening match of IPL Phase 2. The Punjab Kings needed just 4 runs off the last over, but a superb performance by Kartik Tyagi with the ball meant that the Punjab side scored just a solitary run in the 20th over of the match, and went down to the Rajasthan side by 2 runs.

The Rajasthan Royals are currently placed at 5th place in the IPL points table and have won 4 out of the 8 matches that they have played. The Sanju Samson-led side will next be seen in action on 25th September 2021, when they clash against the Delhi Capitals (DC) outfit. Parag has played 27 matches in the IPL and has scored 328 runs at an average of 19.29. With the ball, the right arm spinner has scalped 3 wickets.
