Notably, Rohit Sharma was also the top scorer during the England tour of India earlier this year. He had scored 345 runs in 7 innings at an average of 57.5, including 161 runs knock. He had earlier scored 129 runs in a couple of Tests against Australia. The 33-year-old has cemented his place in the top order. His impressive form means there is no chance for Mayank Agarwal, Prithvi Shaw to get a chance in the top order. Meanwhile, KL Rahul has pounced on the opportunity after Shubman Gill’s departure following a shin injury.
