WWE legend Triple H is recovering after undergoing a “successful procedure” following a “cardiac event”.
The mammoth wrestling company released a statement earlier tonight on Triple H, whose real name is Paul Levesque, and his condition.
The statement read: “Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event.
“The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”
The “cardiac event” alluded to is yet to be confirmed.
Fans and fellow wrestlers took to social media to react to the news, with Olympic wrestling champion Gable Steveson keeping Triple H is in his prayers.

He is a wrestling legend that will walk into the Hall of Fame upon his retirement.
Triple H is a 14-time world champion and can boast further stints with the Intercontinental and European titles as well as a tag team champion.
He is also one of seven wrestlers to have won multiple Royal Rumbles, with his wins in 2002 and 2016 ensuring he joins the list of Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Batista, John Cena and Randy Orton.
