STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women’s soccer team (2-1-0) takes to the road again this weekend to face Albany (0-2-1) on Sunday at 4 p.m.
The Huskies are coming off their first loss of the season, a 4-1 decision at Boston College last Sunday. Jaydah Bedoya scored UConn’s goal vs. the Eagles.
UConn is 1-0-0 all-time vs. Albany. The teams’ only previous meeting came on Nov. 12, 2016, a 4-2 win for the Huskies.
The Great Dames are coming off a 2-2 tie to Cornell. Three Albany players have scored once this season each: Jasmine Colbert, Sophie Eifler and Natasha Fowler-Varon.
After this weekend, the Huskies return to Morrone Stadium for a four-game home stand. Next week, UConn will host Brown on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. and Syracuse on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m.
